Oat bag…got my oat bag…

Has anyone ever seen that Jerry Seinfeld routine? (Does any still say “routine” when referring to stand up comedy??)…it makes me laugh every time.

In this bowl, ½ cup oats, brown sugar, coconut, chocolate chips, vanilla, cinnamon, and the star of the show, peanut butter. Oh, and some plain yogurt. I was a hungry bear this morning.

All the flavors mixed so well! I was actually still hungry after this very hearty bowl…but I decided to press on – I am sure I will feel full after my morning coffee.

On another note, I am running late this morning – but felt the need to still post my breakfast. It is picture day at school – so I spent a few extra minutes getting purrrty. Our school pictures go on our ID badges – and I will have to look at it 10 times a day for the next year. Like a driver’s license, almost. I think it is worth a little extra effort in the beauty department. I will let you know how it turns out! (Last year, I looked so young in my photo – literally, like I was 10 years old – that I cut off all my hair in an attempt to look older). I’m vain.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. Haha – I have seen that “routine” (I think that is the right word for it…but you’re right, it sounds a little strange for some reason?) and I immediately knew it when I read your post title. Ha.

That breakfast looks AMAZING. I. am. jealous.

Good luck with the pictures, I’m sure they’re turn out beautifully :)

  2. Oh my gosh! I think I refer to that routine at least once a week!!! Anytime I finally get a chance to sit down and eat something YUMMY, I think, “Oat bag, I got my oat bag here.” LOVE IT! I can’t wait to see your pic Mrs. U :-)
