Let me start off by saying that Meeker and I have our own, stupid language. It is mostly abbreviations and short words, sometimes we add suffixes. However, one of our favorite phrases is: So dang. It is a short way of saying: This/that is so DANG good! That is how my afternoon was: So dang.
Here are some snippets from my eats today:

Leftover broccoli puree and ham/mozzarella cheese sticks
Eating at my desk
4 o’clock snack: peach, kiwi, granola.
I got home at 6:30ish, completely pooped and dreading my run. But I made myself do 6 miles. First 3 miles: boooo! Last 3 miles: literally FLEW by – the best I have felt in A LONG time. So dang.
Dinner continued to be soooo dang.
Pita, roasted veggies, spaghetti sauce, spinach, ham, mozzarella cheesy. Under the broiler.
I ate half-ish:
And gave the other (smaller) half to Meeker. It was so dang and so satisfying. Oh my goodness, I want another, but we are out of pitas. Next week I will definitely re-create this guy.
ALSO, my conferences went so well. Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Aw YAY!! I’m so glad you had such a good day!! That pita looks SO amazing and it’s so funny you had that because I was JUST thinking today how I want to buy pitas to make pizza out of next week!
And also YAY for a good run! The first mile or so of my runs usually suck but I always usually feel better by mile 3 too. There’s nothing better than a good run though.
Glad your day was “so dang” and I hope tomorrow is too!
Thanks!! I know, pita pizzas are the best news. So dang. I will look forward to your take on them next week…
I like couple speak. My husband and I say “woot,” to pretty much everything.
I love the term couple speak! We always say that if anyone was ever around us for a long period of time they would (a) have no idea what we were talking around (b) think we were freaks.
yummmmmmmm…your day looks SO DANG! i wanna try this pureed vegetables business…it sounds kind of awful, but yet, potentially so delish. hmmmm….just need to get a puree-er.
miss you katie-kates!
Thanks Christine! You have to try the veggies. It is best in the winter because it is really filling and warm and satisfting. It might not have the same appeal in 95-100 degree Abu Dhabi. Maybe I will make you some when you come back for Christmas – then you will see. Missss you tooooooo!

Your so pretty! You should do a VLOG!
You are so sweet! Thanks for the compliment…you made me grin from ear to ear! I am way too self-conscious to do a vlog, but maybe I’ll work on that…new years resolution, maybe??
Thanks again!
