I didn’t get to watch Everwood last night because at about 9:30pm, I decided that I wanted to do my mid-week longish run before school today. That meant that: (1) I had to find a route that would be safe in the dark and (2) I had to buckle down and eat some dinner, despite my tummy not wanting it. I had the eggplant easy bake dish and it was so good! The cheese combos were perfect. Next time,however I will peel the eggplant and slice it more thinly. But, overall, a fabulous thing it was.

I started this morning with the littlest bowl of cereal you have ever met

About ¼ cup a cereal with a splash of milk. I love these little cups. This was eaten at 4:45am.

Then I went for the easiest 6 mile run of my life, and rolled in the door just a few minutes after 6am. I took my ferocious dog. She needed the exercise, I needed the protection. I ended up tying her leash around my waist, and she pretty much pulled me the whole way. Is that cheating? Either way, I decided that nothing is worth not running in the morning (even a 4:30am alarm clock). It is the best thing ever and I feel like a million bucks right now.

Plus, a slice of ww toast with butter. I really like toast.

And that does it! It is barely 7:00, and I have already had a fabulous run and eaten a delightful breakfast.

Not a bad start to a day, if you ask me.
