You know those mornings when you alarm goes off, and you are so tired that there is no way you could possibly get out of bed, but you have to do it anyway? That was me this morning. On mornings like that, I am usually prone to irritability, so I made some coffee, and promptly sat down to make a list of everything in this world that I am grateful for. I find that it is nearly impossible to be upset about the cat/dog hair all over the kitchen floor when I am staring back at a piece of paper that lists everything in my life that is good.
Usually, I have to start small (I woke up this morning), but gradually, my gratitude attitude expands, and before I know it, I have so many things to smile about (a supportive/loving family, a fridge full of groceries, a car to take me to work, etc.) that I can almost not remember the reason for my funk in the first place.
One big thing that I am grateful for this morning is a delicious, healthy breakfast!
Thank you x100 to Sarah for the genius idea of fruit cereal.
This is before milk: 1 apple, some wheat germ, a handful of raisins, dates, walnuts, sunflower seeds, a sprinkle of cinnamon and some vanilla soy milk.
This one tops the breakfast charts this week – and you can bet your bottom dollar that you will be seeing this breakfast again.
Alright, with that, I am out the door a little early this morning because I am treating myself to a latte. Happy Thursday, everyone!

That loooks amazing. There’s a good change your breakfast will be making its way into my mouth at some point today…
