My sweet and adorable parents came up from Colorado Springs to take Meek and I out to dinner tonight. My dad chose PF Chang’s. Good work Daddy-o, ’twas delicious and so much fun.
We started with lettuce wraps…
I hadn’t eaten since breakfast, and so I shoved one down the gullet without even thinking about my camera. This is the 2nd – both were so good.
Then for dinner I got Buddah’s Feast.
Vegetable medley with five-spice tofu served steamed or stir-fried
My Dad had a good shrimp dish (can’t remember the name) which I snacked off of…
I also had some of my mom’s lemon chicken (which was UNREAL good – the best at the table) and Meeker’s Mongolian beef. All good dinners.
We always have dessert in my family – and after looking at all the tempting choices, we settled on the Wall of Chocolate.
This thing was the size of my head! We split it 4 ways (I got the biggest piece…after all…I have a blog named after my love of cake, hah.) The perfect way to finish off a meal – it was so decadent and rich.
Another thing my fam likes after a big meal (well at least my mom and I) is COFFEE. So it was off to Daz Bog.
Straight up black coffee.
My adorable parents…they’ve been married for over 40 years!
Great role models for us…Meeker and I have been married for over 2 years (can’t believe that!)
A fantastic night! Being with family always puts a smile on my face.
Tomorrow we are going to the BRONCOS game – can’t wait!

Your rents are so cute! I’ve yet to try PF Changs, but I;’ve heard it’s great… And for some reason, it’s always right next to Cheesecake Factory… I’m thinking it’d be the lesser of two evils?
