This is an ode to yogurt. A yode, if you will.
But not just any yogurt, the best yogurt mess I have ever eaten.

- ¾ cup plain yogurt
- 1 banana, sliced
- Protein brownie batter (protein powder, cocoa, water)
- Chunky peanut butter
- Quaker Oatmeal Squares
I can’t even tell you how insanely delicious this was. I ate it for dinner last night and breakfast this morning…if that gives you any idea.

Look at that chocolate river…all ooey-gooey and melty. Simple deliciousness. Please run to your kitchens and go make this. (oh, and I guess now would be a good time to label myself a hypocrite for saying I don’t like bananas on several occasions. I guess I do like bananas. As long as they have chocolate and peanut butter near them. Just call me Elvis. The hypocrite. Wait, I’m confusing myself. No more mixing labels and comparisons)
That is all for now. Have a happy Wednesday!

This will be my breakfast tomorrow morning. If i can wait that long
I feel obligated to show you this cake:

Oh girl, that looks amazing! Great idea to put your protein brownie batter in your yogurt mess!! MMMmmmmmmm!!
It just LOOKS delicious!
I knew you would love bananas once you had the right combination for them!
This looks divine!
Yum….I will admit I’ve never had these oatmeal squares or shredded wheat for that matter. I think I’m the only one on the planet, b/c everytime I see them they look so good.
I love your yode.
I have to make this brownie batter stuff you’ve been raving about. I think it looks so good.
That looks awesome! Chocolately swirls at breakfast has to be a good thing
that IS the ultimate yog mess. no worries, that is defo in my future! happy day to you my lady!
YUM! I have seen that the yogurt mess making a comeback on a lot of blogs lately…and I haven’t ever tried my own. I am going to have to remedy that ASAP!!
Also…thanks Katie for your sweet comment on my blog about the baby drama! I really appreciated the support!
I’ve never had protein brownie batter in my yogurt!! Does it stay nice and thick?
omg looks AMAZING! chocolate for breakfast is the best
I tried protein brownie batter with oat bran and failed but this looks like a much better idea! Yogurt makes anything better. Well so does chocolate & pb but we all knew that….
I am really close to buying protein powder, just so I can try your brownie batter! I love your yode- it must be good if you ate it for dinner & breakfast!
This is one hell of a yode
You TOTALLY showed up my yogurt mess. Haha – but that’s okay, for you I’ll accept a defeat!
It figures that we’d both be on the same cereal kick at the same time.
Oh! And I thought about you this morning on my run because I ran by a school and saw the teachers inside getting settled and I was like “that’s probably exactly what katie is doing right now!” Haha
Hope you’re having a good week friend!!
That breakfast looks insane- and no worries banana hater- nothing can be that bad when topped with pb and chocolate- even brussel sprouts (that’s a lie- they might taste sick with it)
LOOKS AMAZING!!! =)
Holy moly! Looks out of this world!
LOVE the word and DANG i am drooling over here. for real. YUM!
Yum yum YUM! Your yogurt mess looks terrific!
That cake looks SO fantastic. Sometimes messy cakes taste better
It’s definitely all about balance– and it doesn’t all have to fit in one day! Some days are just about cake
Girl that looks amazing! Im thinking that is going to be dessert tonight for me!!!! Loving it!!! Hope you are having a great weekend! xoxo
