A Three-Parter

I woke up to a rainy, cloudy, chilly Wednesday. To combat the dreary weather, I had a three-part breakfast that was sure to brighten the day.

Part One – coffee


A warm mug is always a surefire way to banish the chills.

Part Two – a peach


Even though the weather seems to have forgotten that it’s summertime, I can remind my taste buds with food. Peaches = summertime. End of story.

Part Three – trail mix


When all else fails, just eat one of your favorite foods. Trail mix is up there in my top 10 – so it did the trick.

All together…


Yup, still summer.

Push up progress: I am happy to say that I can do 4 REAL PUSH-UPS. I’m amazed at how fast I’ve gained strength. To build up, I’ve been doing a lot (like 50 a day) incline push-ups on my coffee table. It’s working!

  1. Trail mix is one of my faves too. I cannot control myself around it though. Sorry you’ve had booty weather to deal with. Maybe Mr. Summer will come to visit this weekend.

  2. god i remember when i used to be able to do 25 in a row. i’m working my way back up there. i’m at 15ish now.

    fav summer foods are watermelon for sure!

  3. I’m doing the pilates challenge…I’m seriously not flexible at ALL. Plus I’m trying to gain some weight so I figured pilates might be better for me right now than cardio…

    Uh, anyways, I love FRUIT during the summer!! Peaches, watermelon, strawberries, cantaloupe, blueberries…YUM.
