You guys are too nice. I woke up feeling a little guilty about my Debbie Downer of a post last night – but it turns out you all were nothing but encouraging. Thanks for indulging my whiny attitude.
Thankfully, I woke up with a craving for fruit! A craving for anything is so welcome at this point, I nearly leaped out of bed to restock my supply of produce in the house.
Apples oranges, mango, pineapple, bananas, lemons and…
Grapefruit!
Last night, Naomi left a comment telling me that her preggo boss craved grapefruit – and it was like a light bulb went on in my head. Grapefruit sounded good! So far, I’ve eaten three.
Oh and another thing…until last year (I was 24 years old) – I thought that grapefruit was really greatfruit. I wish I was joking. But the misnomer might be more appropriate because it was GREAT to be eating something that I liked.
After my citrus need was fulfilled, I ate the last of my Mama Pea scone. These are so gooood.
Bagheera sat alongside me at the breakfast table looking sleepy – as (fat) cats always do.
Happy Tuesday I’m off to finish start my Christmas shopping!
My mom said she craved grapefruit when she was preggo with me! How funny!

I had a grapefruit craving just a week ago. I think it’s because citrus is in season! Because…I am NOT prego. haha! Glad that you got your fruit fix.
I hope that your mangoes ripen well. The last 4 mangoes that I have bought in the past month have been FAILURES. Guh.

I love the look and smell of grapefruit, I have about 85 grapefruit scented candles…I just wished I loved how it tastes!
With both pregnancies, I was all about the citrus fruit…and we saw how both of those turned out
