I left for work during the most gorgeous sunrise, and drove home during a beautiful sunset. A perfect way to start and end the work day.
In other news, I have had a few people ask me if I eat more than I post. In short – yes. I often snack while I’m teaching, so no picture. However, today I captured everything I ate. Here you go:
Breakfast

½ cup oats, 1 cup water, 1 egg white, 1 tbs. chia seeds, pumpkin butter, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, cinnamon
Lunch/Snacks

Orange, apple x2, minestrone soup, udi’s bread, some walnuts/dried cranberries in the yellow pouch, and 2 chocolates

2 rice cakes
Dinner

Broccoli and red peppers sautéed with peanut butter, soy sauce, water, peanuts, red pepper flakes
In the 3rd grade world…
I went to the bathroom at the end of the day, and when I walked out, two boys from my class jumped out from around the corner and screamed HAPPY BIRTHDAY! as they jumped in the air.
I tried to be mad that they had snuck out of the room and followed me down the hallway to the teacher’s bathroom – but it was too funny, so I just laughed and we walked back to the classroom together.

Your breakfast looks like dessert!!!!
It tasted like it, too!
It’s so great that you use reusable bags like that!
Yumm breakfast looks so good! Maybe I should have that tomorrow

I know everyone has said it, but your oats looked fabulous and those little bags are so cute! I really need to get some of those b/c I feel guilty every time I use a plastic baggie.
Your pictures look awesome today!

I had to write down two of my favorite websites for this class I am taking and I put yesiwantcake.com down as one of them. I look forward to what you post. Just sayin’
Aww, Kandin! You just made my whole day!! I’m kind of beyond flattered that ANYONE is interested in what I eat everyday – but to pick it as one of your top two…I really like you.
Any kind of chips (chocolate, butterscotch, pb, white chocolate) on oatmeal bumps it up to the next level! Yum!
I’m loving that bowl of oats! I totally forgot about the pumpkin butter I have sitting in the fridge, haha! Thanks for the reminder!
You crack me up. I’m glad we are creating beings together. It will surely be hilarious. Love you.
I put chocolate milk on my oats this morning…it was a first and it was pretty fabulous.

I think that one of my favorite parts of your blog is seeing how you bring food with you places. I LOVE the rice cake bag and the yellow pouch. SO CUTE!
Well I didn’t notice that everyone else thinks your bags are cute, too, but for real. I like them. Do you remember who you got them from on Etsy? I might have to look into it.
