Dana @ My Little Celebration sweetly gave me the One Lovely Blog award last week (thanks so much, Dana!) – and because I’ve pretty much eaten the same thing for 4 days in a row, I thought this would be a nice little break in my daily eats routine.

Without further ado, 7 things you probably don’t know about me:

  • I decided that I’m not going to run until after I’ve given birth. I ran about 3 miles this morning, and with each stride, I thought Baby Cakes was going to drop out onto the treadmill (if only childbirth was that easy, right?). And then my hips hurt all day long.
  • I check my email at least 20 times a day. I wish that I was kidding, but it’s sort of an obsession. I have to respond and delete an email immediately upon receiving it. If my inbox has more than 3 emails sitting in it, I start getting antsy.
  • The week before I got married (at the ripe old age of 22), my (soon to be) sister-in-law and cousin-in-law convinced me to get a tattoo of Meeker’s initials on my butt. I put about five minutes of thought into it, and I don’t regret it in the slightest. I just think I’m hilarious. I also didn’t tell Meeker until he saw it on our wedding night. Again, I’m hilarious.
  • I change into my pajamas the minute I get home from work. If I get home at 4:30, I’m in my pajamas at 4:31.
  • The first race I ever ran was a marathon.
  • I’m not an animal lover. Yes, I gush about my pets – but that’s because they’re my pets. (And I can’t resist a puppy or kitten, but who can??)
  • I don’t like watching sports. I really wish I did, I try…but I just can’t get into it. (However, I really miss college football)
