Breakfast was the same as yesterday. Minus the sunshine. In fact, it was snowing while I ate breakfast.

Grape nuts, shredded wheat, strawberries, coconut milk
Lunch was more my style today.

A gigantic bowl of veggie soup
I traded Meeker’s aunt a pot of her delicious soup for a Tupperware full of brownies. A solid swap. (The soup was so good, Cendy!!!)
Then I squeezed this straight into my mouth as I was walking down the hallway to pick up my kiddos from their lunch.

In the 45 second walk to the lunch room, I had about 10 people ask me: What the heck are you eating??! (Is squeezable peanut butter really that odd? Oh well, it tasted good.)
My kids were bonkers today. My room was an absolute madhouse for the 8 hour school day. So I really wanted nothing more than to come home, sit on my couch, and drink some tea.

Which is exactly what I did.

My best friend got me this tea, and I have to say…I’m probably going to continue purchasing and drinking it even after Baby Cakes arrives. It is one of the best I’ve ever had.
Dinner
I went to dinner with friends! We went to a place downtown called Kaos Pizzeria.

I got a caprese panini. It doesn’t look like much, but it was incredible. The bread was the best thing ever – crusty on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Loved.
In the 3rd grade world…
One of my little girls made this flower and taped it to my head today.

1. I am very jealous of your CO strawberries, they are so not available here yet.
2. What other teas would you compare the tea to? I’m clearly not drinking for two yet, but I’ve been on the lookout for a new, good tea.
3. I would totally rock that flower!
What a cute flower. Your “kids” are so cute!
Snow? In the middle of April? Ick!
That sandwich looks incredible! Caprese is my favorite.
OMG kids r so precious… I’m a ballet teacher and I just love my little kiddies!!
I just set up a new blog so please check it out!
Snow?! Wow. I am not a fan of snow this late in the year!
But no better way to deal with it than a nice warm cup of soup!!
Love the flower! Too cute!
You have such a cute nose!!
I would actually break down sobbing if it started snowing here now. I love CO in the winter and summer, but I feel like the in-betweens are brutal!!
On the days my kiddos are crazy, we take an extra recess. WOrks like a charm.
Maybe I should look into buying strawberries now! The frozen ones have not been satisfactory this winter. I keep forgetting it’s spring and fruits are coming out of hiding!
Snow?! Yikes!
Have a great weekend
Love it! Stylish
I love the flower
It’s snowing here as I type this ): It was 60 degrees here on Tuesday and 30 degrees today…
The flower in your hair reminds me of these pins everyone is wearing lately – Daffodils in support of Cancer Care
Have a great weekend!!!
LOVE the flower. Very, very stylish. Your kids are the greatest.
haha yay for bonkers! and yes, it has taken me this long to catch up on blogs.. that, my friend, is bonkers.
Gotta love Colorado
That soup looks delicious! Your student is pretty talented, I am liking the flower. And if it makes you feel any better, eating peanut butter out of the package is pretty darn normal compared to keeping a jar of peanut butter in your backpack and pulling it out to eat with a spoon during class…
Snow in APRIL?!?! That is AWESOME!
I love your flower!
That was so sweet of them to do that!
[...] was on the meh side as well. We’re getting down to the bottom of this soup pot, and I’ve had it for four days straight. My taste buds are ready to move [...]
