Spinach goes with everything. So does peanut butter, for that matter.
This is what I’m eating for breakfast.
We had a field trip to the Denver Museum yesterday. For some reason, I let people convince me that walking around all day, in addition to the snowstorm that blew in last night was going to push me into labor. I went to bed last night with some mild contractions, thinking…this is probably it!
And I woke up pregnant. My due date is still 3 days away, but I am anxious. And if I’m being honest, a little grumpy.
Meeker keeps telling me that I can’t stay pregnant forever, so I’m keeping that in mind, and I’m headed out for a long walk to enjoy the snow on the ground and the sunshine in the sky.
Happy Saturday!

Walk. Eat. Lounge. Walk. Eat. Lounge. Repeat. Baby is almost ready!!!!! Can’t wait to hug and kiss her sweet little Katie nose! Love YOU 3!
Suck that baby in until Friday – my birthday!!! Hehe, just kidding.
Hope all is well and I can’t wait to see your new little one!
hahahahah!
Meeker is right and she’ll be here before you know it! Sending good vibes your way this weekend!
I think all of our readers are just as anxious for baby cake’s arrival as you are! I know I can’t wait
… She will be here soon enough!
Oh I can’t wait to meet babycakes!!!
Haha – you really almost DID have carrot sticks and peanut butter! I’ve never done the spinach and peanut butter thing but it does look mighty delicious.
I’ll pray that baby cakes makes her way out soon for you! I know from my sister how uncomfortable those last few weeks are!!
For some reason I was thinking you were past your due date. Hang in there girl, it will be here before you know it!
I love the PB & spinach combo! People never believe me when I insist that spinach has a neutral taste. Sheesh!
Its ALMOST time – she’ll be here before you know it. I cant wait to see her.
Never would think spinach and pb would go well together…but then again, they do in smoothies so why not in a wrap?
Hope you’re in labor SOON! I know how tough this stage is.
Hang in there! Those last few days are tough!
Philippians 4:6-7
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”
Hang in there little lady! Your wise husband is right, you can’t be preg forever. That baby will come when he/she is good and ready. Don’t stress, be calm, go for long walks and drink hot comforting bevies. Get a pedicure, spoil yourself! you deserve to be pampered. Just be patient and everything will happen as it should.
Thank you so much for sharing that verse with me! It’s one of my all time favorites, and just EXACTLY what I needed to read right now.
Fingers crossed babycakes comes soon. We all can’t wait to see her
