Yesterday I did four hundred lunges.
Today we went hiking.
Tomorrow I will sit around in my pajamas and eat pancakes.
Yesterday, a friend and I headed to the Plains Conservation Center in Southeast Denver. If ...
It’s been snowing for the better part of three days. Or maybe two. I can’t ...
Now I think I need a nap.
I’m praying for your muscles.
Haha, they need it! I can’t even sit down/stand up without groaning in pain.
I love that you took Babycakes hiking!
Jillian says I think every other week 200 so girl I know your legs are on fire! Where did you hike? We need to find you a Kelty carrier/backpack with the sunguard…google it or they might be on craigslist or the baby resale shops in town. We loved ours…used it for years with 2 kiddos!
Omg, I hope 400 was an exageration; my butt hurts just thinking about it! Apparently a baby is the best (cutest!) way to add weight resistance during a hike! 😀
Unfortunately, it is NOT an exaggeration. My butt hurts so badly.
Beautiful hiking area! Have a nice relaxing day today.
Umm 400 lunges! You are AWESOME!!! The hike looks like SO much fun!!!
Four hundred lunges?! Ouch!! The hike looks gorgeous- I hope you enjoy your pancakes today!
You’re so lucky you live in a hiking area – when we went to Aspen last year for the Winter X games we did a hike and it was AWESOME.
You look so cute in your little hat
Enjoy your pancakes tomorrow!
Love Aspen! And the Winter X games, we used to always go when we were in college…next time you come, we will meet you up there!
OKAY!! I actually thought of you the whole time I was there but wasn’t sure if it was a doable trip for you to make. I will definitely be texting you incessantly next time we’re there!
yes, yes yes!! It’s only about an hour and a half from us!
400 lunges?! You are amazing, Katie!
And to think I groan when my Body Pump instructor makes us to 100…. *tsk tsk tsk* 😉
Wow. I think I would be forced to lay around in my PJs after 400 lunges. Enjoy the pancakes!
That is balance if I’ve seen it. The hike looks so pretty!
You are so beautiful, Katie.
Sounds like the perfect weekend! I always make Sunday a sit around no exercise day. It’s so nice to have one of those days every week.
Sounds like an amazing weekend! And 400 lunges? You rock.
400 lunges?? Pancakes were definitely in order.
Wow, no wonder all the new mothers I’ve met are buff–they work out for two! I love the peacefulness of the kiddo’s expression.
When I get pregnant i am going to use YOU as my motivation. You are rockin girl!
You will be such a fit mama!!
If you’re ever in Bar Harbor, ME (or anywhere on Mount Desert Island, actually) you have to go hiking. You’ll love it!
You can find some pics of the general stunning-ness from a recent Sunday AM hike I did at my blog (email@example.com).
BTW: I think it’s SO COOL that you’re a stay-at-home mom. My mom is and it was the best! I say she’s how I ended up at Harvard Really, we (the kids) benefit sooo much, even if it takes us 18 years to say it. I hope you stick with it!
Oh. Sweet. Moses.
You are a Spartan. Aaand you just inspired me to do 400 lunges (200 each leg). But I have a feeling you probably did 400 EACH leg.
