Oh hey there. Just another Sunday morning at our house.
I offered to make Meeker a special Sunday morning breakfast, and he said…
Turkey sandwich, please.
So I made the best dang turkey sandwich I knew how to make.
There you have it – oh happy (sun)day!
Enjoy yours, we’re off to spend ours with my parents.

Gotta love untraditional breakfasts! That picture of Meeker with Adrienne is SO priceless <3
He’s a funny one about breakfasts – no pancakes or cereal for that one. Also, yes those two turn my heart into a puddle of mush on an hourly basis.
so sorry we missed you at your parents!
We missed you guys, too! Hope you had a good weekend. See you next week in Strasburg?
That sandwich looks amazing! I love sprouts on mine, too!
Sprouts MAKE the sandwich in my opinion. Love.
Avocado is thee best sandwich topper!
Oh my goodness, those two are precious!
I agree.
How’s school going?
oh good heavens that picture is real cute! his sammich looks tasty too, aren’t guys funny with their breakfast choices?
I am sure Sunday’s around your have changed these past few months!
They have indeed…we started going to church on Saturday night so we can just LOUNGE (naptime) on Sunday mornings. It’s wonderful.
Not sure if I could do sandwiches for breakfast, but your husband sounds like my husband – he can eat anything at any time!
For breakfast, my oldest son does soup, sandwich or left-overs from the night before. He needs lots of protein in the AM or he feels sick all day, so breakfast is a bit of a pot-luck at our house.
Same here! It’s almost always lasagna or burritos or 5 egg omelets. Funny boys.
5 eggs?! Holy moly!
Can you make me a sandwich, Katie? Please? That turkey sandwich looks SO GOOD!
Yes, come on over! Breakfast, lunch, or dinner – I’m always ready to make sandwiches.
Such a great wife (helpmeet
)
Love!!! It makes me so happy to serve him.
Yummm that sandwich looks so delicious!!!!!! I had avocado on mine today and it was awesome. Could you family be anymore precious?! (You have me thinking about all the fun times to come when I have a hubbie + a family!!!)
Eeee! It’s SO fun. Life is so good with a little one. (well, it’s good anyway, but it just gets better!)
That does looks like a pretty darn amazing turkey sandwich. I think I am going to have to try pickles on mine! Have fun with your parents!
Thanks! Hope you’re having a good Sunday, too! How are the wedding plans coming?
They are coming. The next thing we are trying to lock down is a photographer. We have a few meetings set up – but it is so hard to choose.. and it is so expensive! I know the photography is NOT something to skimp on though. Once we get that, the DJ, and the florist stuff done, I will be feeling better! Addressed our Save the Dates this weekend, too!
Oooh good work! I think photographer is the only thing I am really glad we spent money on – like you said, you don’t want to skimp on that. Sounds like you are on top of things.
Haha…I love the unusual breakfasts too sometimes. This morning I had cereal but had a hankering for salad (strange but true.) The next time this hankering occurs, I’ll take Meeker’s cue and just go with it.
(p.s. you really DO know how to make a mean looking turkey sandwich!!)
I crave salad for breakfast sometime too! I swear my body wakes up with veggie depletion sometimes.
Dear Meeker and Katie,
I need to spend a Sunday at your house! Also a Saturday for turkey sandwich breakfasts
I love your happy little family!!! It warms my heart!
Love,
Cait
Dear Cait,
I love you. Please come visit.
I will make you all the turkey sandwiches you can handle.
Love, Katie
Haha YAY! That love is very mutual and all the turkey sandwiches I can handle sound like a good deal to me
Now that is a sandwich!!
Now that is a sandwich!
You have such an attractive family!
lucky boy! i love the avocado
glad to hear you had a great sunday!
nice sammie (: love the sprouts addition! hope you had a lovely sunday. ps, your coconut almond macaroons were a hit! shout out in tomorrows post
xo.
Oh good! Glad they worked out! Thanks for letting me know.
That sandwich looks so delicious!
Oh goodness me. I just love that photo holding the sandwich!!! Hu-uuge.
What IS it with men and cold sandwiches? We take sandwiches in our lunch every day to work…but then on the weekends I ask C what he wants for lunch – like I’m willing to make anything, and he says “sandwich.” He’s obsessed! At least they’re easy to please, ha!
I know! Meeker can’t get enough either. At least it’s not something like fried chicken or lasagna…something really laborious.
