The sun was out all day yesterday. All day. And it was warm like springtime.
Which is miraculous considering Colorado doesn’t ever get a springtime. It usually snows 534 feet and makes me hate everyone who lives in a climate that does have springtime.
But not this year, folks. Or at least not yesterday.
It made me want to hug (or lick) a tree.
It made me want to crawl around wearing a flowery onsie in the front yard and point out that there is indeed green underneath the brown crunchy grass.
…oh wait, that was Adrienne.
It just made me want to go for a walk, frolic, toss my giggling baby into the air, and eat a salad.
Yes, a salad. You know the weather is turning when I am exchanging a big fat bowl of potatoes and butter for a salad.
Not to mention this salad was eaten at dinnertime.
DINNER. You see that light streaming through the windows onto my salad?
That was at DINNER.
Granted, I eat dinner at 5:30pm, but still. It was dinner, there was light outside.
Hallelujah, summer is coming.
