My husband, or my baby?
Meek found this picture of himself at one year old, and we are flipping over the similarities. Seriously, if the above didn’t look like it was from 1986 and there wasn’t a basketball sitting next to that blue-clad-baby…I’m not sure I could tell the difference.
I obviously had to re-create the picture in our living room yesterday. Then take a few pictures of my two favorite people on this earth – who just happen to resemble each other.
Oh heavens, I like them so much.

Are baby A’s toenails painted? How in the world did she sit still long enough for that? She looks like Meeker, but I can still see you in her. Those overalls are precious!
Yeah, the toenail painting is hilarious. I basically paint her whole toe, and they get ruined about 30 seconds later.

Is she the happiest baby ever? I think so. But then again, I don’t wake up with her in the middle of the night. ha! The picture of baby Meeker is cracking me up. I love how is hand is hanging out like “You gonna give me that candy or what?”
She sleeps 12 hours a night! It’s kind of incredible. That must be why she’s so dang happy all the time.

Oddly enough, my almost-4-year-old niece is my mini-me — personality-wise even. It makes me slightly afraid to have children because my sister was the naughty one in our family and my niece is soooo good. I hope I don’t end up with demon spawn.

Her toenails. match. her. out. fit. !. That is pretty remarkable- we’ve compared my dad and my older nephew and they also look freakishly similar. I think we should start dressing my nephew in clothes from the 50′s and throw everyone off.

How neat! What a cute post, Katie…It’s so interesting how kids/we change too – I used to look more like my dad and now everyone says it’s my mom! So there’s hope (although it’s not a bad thing to look like Meeker!).
