It’s been one-hundred degrees all weekend. You know I love it. (Oh, except for the fires that are closing in all around us. Please, God…send rain.)
But I do love this heat. We’ve been working hard (the deck has a foundation and something called a ledger), eating ice cream, playing in the water, playing with puppies, making pizza for hungry family, and doing all sorts of summery, weekendy things over here.
I’m so grateful for my life.

Wow. Your weekend looks quite a bit like mine, down to the deck work, hot temps and fires closing in all around us! Two nearby communities were evacuated on saturday night. Though the fires have slowed down (this is relative to the raging speed on saturday) there is no rain in sight. Fingers crossed for us both you get some rain!
