I know I’ve mentioned this before, but we usually go to church on Saturday night. This makes Sunday mornings the squiggliest, coziest, most relaxing few hours of the week. Meeker (unfortunately) has to work (at our church) on Sunday mornings, so it’s just Adrienne, me, and the animals. Although I wish Meeker could be with us – it is without a doubt, one of my most treasured times of the week.
This morning we had scrambled eggs with goat cheese. We read books. Kicked around in our jammies for hours. Took Punky to the park for some frisbee. And thanked God that life is so wonderful.

So sweet!
Thank you!
we do that too! but our church is on Sunday night. makes for a great sunday morning. Lovely family friend. You are blessed.
<3
Indeed, indeed. Love to you.
Love, love, love everything about this post. I wish I could be there with you friend!!!
Oooh I SO wish you could, too! <3
I loved Moo, Baa, La La La when my boys were little (Barnyard Dance was out favorite though), and the book with you and Meeker in it is such a wonderful thing for her to have. Enjoy those times, cause they are very special.
I do love Sandra Boynton…easy to read over and over again!!
i kinda love your new layout. and you. and your babe.
Thank you! Holly, the Healthy Everythingtarian made my header and new social media buttons for me…she’s a gem!
wish our church had a Sat. night service. I miss your church – actually, you need to invite Heather Blackmon to it!
Yes I do. And I will. And can we fly you out every Saturday night to go with us?
Sunday mornings are crazy for us here! I understand about your hubby having to work on Sundays. I would give anything to be able to have a cup of coffee with you girl!
Oh heavens, so.would.I.
That sounds like such a beautiful day spent with your daughter just enjoying life. These pictures are so precious! She is just the cutest!
What a beautiful day! I especially love the baby yoga in the middle
.
You make life seem so beautiful. Not that you don’t have your own share of heartache. But you treasure the precious moments that truly matter. Thank you for reminding all of us to slow down and see the beauty in every day!
I’m glad it comes across like that, it’s what I strive for my attitude to be…thanks for your kind words.
this post screams of “love, happiness and family”. So wonderful.
I gotta think that ponytail shot was just for me.
What is this Moo La La book? I thought we’d read all the Sandra Boyntons!
Oh you KNOW it…every time my hair looks ridiculous, I think of you. I think of you a lot.
Oh, I love this post. Makes me smile inside.
And also – I want to move to Colorado, sight unseen.
You can come check it out when you come visit me. THEN move here.
Awww I love the picture of A on her head! She looks like she’s trying yoga!
She is a down dog MASTER. She actually yells “dow-dow” when she goes into that pose.
Ah! That is adorable! She is too much!
I go to church Saturday nights too. I love it like that! Seriously, Adrienne should be a baby model.
Such a sweet post and such a sweet happy baby! She even does yoga! hahah
Love this.
These pictures are so gorgeous. In that purely simple, life is beautiful kind of way
Your header is absolutely perfect as are these photos!!! I love the headstand.
Love all the pictures!! Such a wonderful Sunday morning.
that could not be more perfect
I love the new header!! One of the churches we’re excited about trying near our new house has a Saturday night service that I thought sounded fun too – love lazy mornings!
I love the book you made for her, and her cute little headstand!
Also, let’s hear it for messy short-haired ponytails!
I love your new header! And Sunday mornings. And squiggle time. I wish I could be as carefree as your babe everyday. You’re a lucky mama!
Don’t you just LOVE Sundays? I wish our church had a Sat. night service. It is hard for me to go…as my husband is a cop and works every Sunday, and with two kids (2.5 and 1.5), it is virtually impossible to get through church by myself with them without sweating, making a TON of noise, tantrums and then swearing (and then realizing I’m in church and feeling horrible).
Ah…but with all that being said I do love Sunday mornings!
Soooooo sweet.
I almost wrote sweat. It’s so not sweat. Well, it might be?
A’s baby headstand is awesome! She is too cute!
I’m loving the old high school t-shirt
I swear, baby A is the cutest little thing ever. Seeing her photos on your Instagram make me smile
I love the thought of scrambled eggs in goat cheese! And this post totally has me convinced that my husband and I need to make Saturday evening church time. We always think we’ll go to the early Sunday service, snooze away and barely make it there in time for the late. I need to get control of things!
She is just precious as are you. Love how you are savoring and drinking in all your time with your family. What a blessing these little ones are.
Oh my gosh, is that book called moo baa la la la?? That was my little sisters favorite book growing up!! And barnyard dance… Love the pictures!!
Hah, thank you. She is a hoot and a half. Especially when she get’s some (accidental caffeine in her little body…whoops).
Yes! It’s one of our favorites!
Thanks for the positive energy and just keep bringing the light!
Nothin but love here.
