It’s past the middle of summer and I sort of want to cry about it. Okay, maybe not technically, but in my mind, summer is June, July, August…which means today, July 17th is past the halfway mark.
But don’t worry, we’re not wasting a single second of these wonderfully sunshine packed days. Lately we’ve been…
wearing swimsuits and hats
eating (cake) outside
to a baseball game
spending time at the fountains
running outside
working on our deck (I’ve probably only helped with four-percent of it)
blowing through our stash of sidewalk chalk
wearing diaper covers as shorts (okay, just A…not me…you’re welcome.)
basically living in the blow-up swimming pool in the backyard
…and there’s a WHOLE month and a half left. Hallelujah.
Gaaah I can’t get over her. And I don’t want to be reminded that summer is half over – that means I go back to schoooooool.
I can’t get enough of your adorable family.
It’s crazy how fast the summer goes, I only have one month left before I go into work to start setting up my classroom for the school year!

Love it! And you know what….I am starting to embrace this whole summer thing. GASP! But it has been relatively cooler than last year and we got 5 inches of rain last week (praise the Lord) so it has been okay. Shorts and flip flops are making it a tad easier too.

Well, with the way this summer is going, it might FEEL like summertime well into the fall! I don’t want to jinx it or anything, though. I love A’s patriotic swimsuit. She’s so fashion forward.

I felt the same way last weekend! Also, my niece Aurelia has that same sailor swimsuit–both girls look completely adorable in it. Here’s to the rest of the summer!

It’s cloudy and cold here today and it hit me that I’m going to have to trade in my skirts and dresses for pants again soon at work. And all my fave fruits and veggies won’t be around anymore!! Wahhh.

Oh my goodness these pictures are so sweet. The one with her looking up at you when you are cutting the cake….you can feel the love! How can anyone not love a Colorado summer? It is such a shame it doesn’t last longer.
