Let’s talk salad.

I’m never going to make any friends with a salad that only has some green leafery (yup, leaf-er-y…made it up) and some dressing.



But a salad with eggs and avocados and bacon and homemade dressing that tastes kind of like tangy ranch?

Won them alllll over.

Including the wide-eyed babe and the german shepherd that is a constant underneath her high chair.



Favorite Cobb Salad

PRINT Recipe

for each salad

  • 2 C spinach, chopped
  • 2 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 egg, hard boiled
  • 1/2 cucumber, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 C sprouts
  • 1/2 avocado, chopped

for the dressing

  • 1/4 C olive oil
  • 2 T lemon juice
  • 1 T plain greek yogurt
  • 1 T dijon mustard
  • 1 T dried dill
  • 1 T water

Blend ingredients for dressing in a blender until combined. Pour over salad ingredients and enjoy!
