Flour on the Floor.
I was making breakfast this weekend when I heard some happy squeals coming from the behind me. I turned around to see Adrienne had found a box of cake flour that I had left sitting on the floor of the pantry (silly mama). She was having so much fun that I couldn’t bring myself to stop the mess making.
And then all of a sudden she looked up, told me she needed to SEEEP IT UP and went to get the broom. She put her full effort into cleaning it up for about two minutes, whereupon the broom magically tuned into a horse, and she spent the rest of the morning galloping around the kitchen.
Life with her is so much fun.

She is so cute! My twins do the same thing with the broom and end up pushing the flour/protein powder/ cereal/ oats/ anything they can reach in the pantry… all over the kitchen

Oh my gosh. The pictures of her “seeping” are perhaps the best thing I’ve seen all day. She is just too adorable – you are one blessed mama to have a girl like that in your life

OH! So cute…I wasn’t sure from the pics alone if you gave her a broom (not to make her clean! haha but for fun) or if it was her idea. SO amazing that it was her idea (she is smart! how old is she?!) and so, so adorable.

I know, I was shocked that she went and got it herself. Probably because she sees me sweeping the floor at least twice a day.
(She’s 19 months.)

I love this! It reminds me of when I was really little (and maybe not-so-little?) and my mom used to put out big metal bowls with flour and dry lentils and let me go wild. I can’t even tell you how many hours I spent making huge flour-lentil messes (I hope I was as helpful a cleaner as Adrienne!)
