Tis (finally!) the season for peaches.
I’ve been buying and eating them by the bucketful. Cannot get enough.
So I thought I’d mix a few of them into a smoothie. The more peach consumption the better.
Big sister feels the same way. In fact, she was so excited about that smoothie that she grabbed it, and took a few sips, and then promptly (and accidentally) dropped the rest of it on the ground.
Whoopsies. It’s a good thing the recipe makes two (and it’s a good thing Adrienne thinks that scrubbing carpets is fun).
Peach Pie Smoothies
- 2 C peach slices (fresh of frozen)
- 1 C ice (unless you used frozen peaches, then you can skip it)
- 1/2 C vanilla yogurt
- 1/4 C rolled oats
- 1/4 t cinnamon
- 2 C almond milk
Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
