I think being pregnant has made me like fall more this year. I actually wake up and look forward to a daily run/walk in the crisp cool air…which is so very unlike me. As a general rule, I like to be hot and on the brink of a sunburn at all times.
But this year, I love it all. Especially the food – which I always love, actually. I can’t eat enough lately. Hungry around the clock. Did I tell you that this baby boy I’m carrying is constantly measuring two weeks big? (funny because Adrienne was two weeks small). I think he’s going to be a linebacker. I’m eating for myself and a (baby) linebacker. Here are some things we’re loving:
I’ve had this sandwich almost every single day for a month.
We made our own apple cinnamon fruit roll-ups!
Prettiest scones ever. Also, the tastiest.
I actually haven’t made these apples (yet) because I’m sure I’ll get frustrated that they don’t turn out like the pictures. But seriously?! Gorgeous.
Autumn cobb salad. I think I have a major crush on Heather Christo.
Grilled Hawaiian Pizza Burritos. Okay, nothing to do with fall, but Bev is a pregnant food genius.
I can have beer if it’s baked in bread, right? Good. Because I did.
I haven’t ever made my own pasta, but plan on starting with this pumpkin kind. On my list for the weekend.
How about you? Favorite fall recipes…go!
