The last week has been a whirlwind. I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone. I drove to Texas and back to see my grandma early in the week, then got home, had a birthday (thirty! whaaaat!), celebrated Christmas eve with my family and Christmas Day with Meeker’s family and then saw more family and then more family and presents and snow and sledding and playing and soooo many cookies. Whew. I think this was one of the busiest, but most fun Christmases I can remember. Seeing this season through my baybuh’s eyes makes it so much more exciting. I have to say though, I cannot wait to get back into the groove of things. Our house is basically upside down with toys and trash and dishes and half eaten cookie trays. Wheee! A new year (and Jesse’s first birthday!) just around the corner.

How was your Christmas? Any big plans for New Years? (we’re having a big sleepover with Meeker’s sister/brother and their kids. I’m excited…and I haven’t told AB yet, but I know she’s going to flip her lid. I’m also positive there will be NO sleeping involved.)
