Tangy Crock Pot Chicken

  • 1 lb. chicken breasts
  • 3 garlic cloves, smashed and peeled
  • 1 tbs. oregano
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 3-4 tbs. brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3 carrots

Marinate all ingredients overnight.

Add all ingredients to the crock pot and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or until chicken is tender.

    Hi Katels,

    I tried this recipe last night, and it was very tasty. I like the tang! The chicken was a little bit too tender, and I think it was because I cooked it too long. Any ideas, other than cooking it for a shorter time, on how to know when it is ready and/or make it less mushy?
